Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully.
Confirmation of any reservation made on
this website is conditional on acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions
by all parties to the transactions. Any person not wishing to be legally
bound by the Terms and Conditions may not book any services from our website.
THE
SERVICE
resorttaxis.com acts as a booking agent for various independent overseas suppliers and operators offering pre-bookable transportation between airports, hotels and other accommodation. In making a booking on the website you are entering a contract directly with the overseas service provider(s) involved.
Transportation by taxi, minibus, coach or as otherwise advertised on this site is generally available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Shared shuttle services apart, vehicles are reserved for the exclusive use of the party placing a booking.
PLACING A BOOKING To make a booking simply follow the
procedures indicated on our web site. Bookings can only be made ‘online’ and at
least 48 hours prior to the date of departure.
Bookings should only be placed by
persons aged 18 years or over who act as agent for all members of the party and
accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of each member of the party.
CONFIRMATION OF A BOOKING Confirmation and acceptance of booking
is made online by electronic means to the email address given on the booking.
This confirmation is given on the basis
that all details provided are accurate and payment is properly made by the due
date.
PRICES Prices may change without notice. The
price payable is that displayed on our website in the search results at the time
and date a booking is placed. You will not be asked to pay more if prices are
subsequently increased prior to delivery of the service.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment is accepted on behalf of the overseas suppliers involved and is due in full at time of booking.
AMENDMENTS
Bookings can be amended on line by the
registered site user who placed the booking at any time up to 72 hours prior to
the date of departure. Amendments are electronically notified to the overseas
service provider and resorttaxis.com and revised documentation automatically
produced for all parties to the transactions. No charge is made for ‘online’
amendments.
For amendments within 72 hours these
should be notified to resorttaxis.com at the earliest opportunity by email, fax
or telephone and we will do our best to comply. Administration charges may
apply.
CANCELLATIONS Bookings may be cancelled in writing by
email, fax or letter at any time. Notification of cancellation received at
resorttaxis.com’s UK offices more than 7 days prior to the date a service is due
to be delivered will be subject to a 20% administration charge, the balance
being refunded. No refunds can be made for cancellations received within 7 days
of the first service booked.
PROBLEMS AND COMPLAINTS Any problems arising prior to date of
departure should be urgently referred to resorttaxis.com in the UK.
Problems or difficulties arising
overseas should be immediately brought to the notice of the service provider or
overseas agent whose contact details are shown on the confirmation voucher.
Problems can usually be resolved
quickly, amicably and with a minimum of inconvenience but exceptionally, where
this is not the case and the passenger(s) wish to pursue a complaint this should
be made in writing and be received at resorttaxis.com UK offices not later than
14 days after the date the last service is delivered.
Resorttaxis.com will act as intermediary
in any dispute and use our best endeavours to enable the passenger(s) and overseas supplier involved to achieve an amicable resolution of any differences. If we are
unable to do so and passenger(s) wish to pursue matters further they must do
this directly with the overseas service provider concerned.
GENERAL CONDITIONS COMMON TO ALL INDEPENDENT OVERSEAS SERVICE
PROVIDERS
VEHICLE CAPACITIES Maximum capacity for each vehicle is
shown in the online search result in response to each enquiry. Infants under 2
years of age still count as one person in a taxi or minibus. Number(s) in
excess of permitted vehicle capacity will not be carried.
SMOKING It is not permitted to smoke in the
vehicles.
ALCOHOL
It is not permitted to drink alcohol in
the vehicles
BEHAVIOUR Overseas service providers and / or
their drivers reserve the right to refuse to carry any person(s) thought to be
under the influence of drugs or alcohol and who could be considered a threat to
other occupants of the vehicle or third parties.
INSURANCE AND PROPERTY Our overseas service providers and their
vehicles are fully insured for public liability and passenger / third party
claims in accordance with their local and national laws and regulations.
Passengers’ property is carried entirely
at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage.
Customers are therefore advised to check their own travel insurance.
LIABILITY Independent service providers aim to
provide a courteous, comfortable and efficient service between airport /
accommodation and return in accordance with the confirmation document. They
cannot however accept any liability for consequential loss resulting from
unforeseeable problems and / or matters beyond their control.
Resorttaxis.com acts only as a booking agent on behalf of the overseas service providers and, as such can only accept any liablillity for the quality and performance of the administration and clerical service we provide.
